In 2006, as compared to 2005 the quantitative change of land purchase-sale deals made 40.2%. Quantitative deals of agricultural land purchase-sale increased for 16.3%, for residential lands 62.3%, for industrial lands it increased 5.2 times. A great number of land purchase-sale deals were registered in Armavir marz: 13083.77 hectare, 13002.26 of which were agricultural lands.
Below the distribution of areas and number of purchase-sale deals of state or community, as well as private property lands is presented by marzes for the year of 2006. The sale of public health lands and lands designed for rest under special protection, energy settlements lands designed for water power plant and rental rights are not included.

Below, number of deals on direct or sale by auction of public or community owned lands, as well as the distribution of area  by marzes and by type of land for the year of 2006 is presented, excluding the areas of special protection destined for health and rest purposes, as well as energy establishments planned for hydroelectric power stations.

During the year of 2006, as compared to 2005, the quantity of land auction sale deals increased for 67.6% in the Republic. In Yerevan it decreased for 60.1%, in the rest of marzes altogether it increased for 78.0%. Number of auction sale deals of agricultural lands increased for 14.5%, compared to residential encumber (homestead) lands for 66.0%, to public encumber lands for 5.0 times and in comparison with agriculture settlement lands it increased 2.3 times.
In the table below, the results of contract and average market price analysis of agricultural lands for the year of 2006 are presented, calculated by 1 hectare area.
